Polly LaPorte art directed and designed this project, working with a team of designers and crafts people. She also managed the construction and installation of the exhibit with the contractors.

This unique exhibit contained four sections: boyhood, the early years, administration and the transition to the Reagan era. TV’s with period facades were in each section showing a fast-paced video.

This was a very successful exhibit at the California Museum for History, Women and the Arts. The reception was hosted by Shriver and attended by Jerry Brown.

Positive reviews were in the San Francisco Chronicle, the LA Times and broadcast media.
